School Vision
Our Vision is to attain a safe and caring child-centered environment in which the children will achieve success in the areas of academics, personality development, job skills and athletics, through being grounded emotionally and spiritually in the Dene culture.
Mission Statement
With accountability to the Dene Tha’ First Nation membership, the Dene Tha’ First Nation Education Authority and staff will deliver quality education. Programming will consist of the required provincial curriculum components while integrating the Dene Language and traditions wherever possible. The school will provide a Safe, Caring and Positive atmosphere with emphasis on respect for people and the environment.
The school will provide an academic and social education that will prepare our children to become equal partners in our general society and provide our students with the present day tools to compete for jobs, higher learning and to lead productive healthy lifestyles. In the process, we will promote the school motto: Learning to Love; Loving to Learn.
